27-year-old Courtney Regina King and her sister, Rahquell Micole King, caused a domestic disturbance with their mother, Nicole King Wheatley, at the Thompson Lane Chipotle around 6:27 p.m. on June 20th. When officers arrived, they observed Courtney wearing a Chipotle uniform with a bloody left hand, Anaiya Cole wearing black shorts and a black jacket, and Rahquell in a purple dress. Then, other Chipotle employees informed officers that the trio planned to come there and start a fight with Nicole, the location’s manager. Courtney was transported to Vanderbilt for her injuries. Officers reviewed footage of the incident, showing Courtney and Rahquell inside the restaurant throwing items at Nicole. After this, Nicole grabbed a knife for protection while Rahquell and Courtney went behind the counter where she stood. Nicole brandished the knife, trying to get them away from her, which was when Courtney grabbed the blade, causing her injury. Footage also showed Cole throwing an item without it hitting anyone. Then, an unknown customer informed Nicole that a female, later identified as Courtney, was vandalizing someone’s vehicle, later identified as Nicole’s. When officers spoke with Courtney, she admitted to damaging Nicole’s tires. Courtney King was then taken into custody for domestic assault and vandalism.
