33-year-old Andrew Pugh tried to steal Quintez Nails’s vehicle from Sleep Inn hotel on Percy Priest Drive late June 15th. When officers arrived, Nails had Pugh on the ground, ensuring he did not escape until they showed up. Then, when officers spoke with Pugh, he admitted that he believed the car had been abandoned for several days, so he broke into it. Pugh was taken into custody for vehicle theft.
Andrew Pugh was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 16th, charged with vehicular burglary. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $5,000.
