33-year-old Kelsey Guarisco was involved in a single-vehicle accident on I-40 West near Mile Marker 192 at 10:37 p.m. on June 19th. Once officers arrived, they observed the Nashville Fire Department removing the vehicle’s roof to free Guarisco. She was then transported to the hospital for treatment. While at the hospital, officers Mirandized Guarisco and questioned her about the incident. Guarisco admitted to having three glasses of wine at her dinner in downtown Nashville and then attempting to go home. She added that she could not remember much besides driving and being helped out of her vehicle by NFD. Officers attempted to get Guarisco to consent to a blood draw, but she was going in and out of consciousness and could not fully understand what they were asking. A warrant was issued for her arrest on June 20th. Kelsey Guarisco was then taken into custody for driving under the influence on June 24th after recovering.
Kelsey Guarisco of 8th Ave S in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 24th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
