31-year-old Molly Denson was involved in a car accident near 2nd Avenue South in the early hours of June 6th. Denson told responding officers she did not see the parked car because she was on her phone. During their interaction, officers noticed Denson reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. Officers prompted Denson with sobriety tests, which she consented to and performed poorly on. Denson refused to provide a chemical sample and was detained for the occurrence. While on the way to booking, she told officers that she was “sorry for the accident” several times and that “it was her fault.” Denson also made a statement about “driving her friends to the bar.” Denson was taken into custody for an implied consent violation and driving under the influence.
Molly Denson of Fairfax Avenue in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 6th, charged with driving under the influence and implied consent violation. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
