26-year-old Kory Michael Jensen was taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on June 10th. On May 23rd, officers were called to Pointe West apartments, where they spoke with Stuart Terrell Jr., his father, Stuart Terrell, and his friend, Jensen’s ex-girlfriend, Analise Ford. Terrell Jr. stated he was spending time with Ford when her ex-boyfriend, Jensen, showed up wanting to speak with her. Terrell Sr. told Jensen he was not welcome there, and he agreed to leave if Ford let him retrieve his belongings from her vehicle.

Ford gave her keys to Terrell Sr., who gave Jensen the keys. After he gathered his items, he said that if she wanted her keys back, she would have to speak with him. Terrell Sr. said, “That is not how it is going to work,” to which Jensen responded by revealing a handgun in his waistband before putting his hand on the grip. Shortly after, Ford wanted to go to her car for her work uniform, but since she feared Jensen would be outside, Terrell Jr. escorted her and stated the car door was locked, so he turned around to get the keys when he noticed Jensen running towards him from his car, grabbing something through his shirt.

Terrell Jr. confronted Jensen over being there and scaring Ford, which was when Jensen grabbed the handle of the handgun and started chasing after him while he tried to return to his apartment. After Terrell Jr. returned to his unit, Terrell Sr. stated he would call the police, and Jensen left the property. Detectives met with Terrell Jr., and he identified Jensen from a photo lineup. He also provided them with a screenshot of texts between Ford and Jensen, in which Jensen apologized for his actions and told her he needed her help if Terrell went through with the prosecution. A warrant was issued for Jensen’s arrest on May 31st, and he was later arrested for the incident.
