Trevor Willis arrested for being drunk while working on broken down Tesla on Briley Parkway

29-year-old Trevor Willis was run over by an unknown vehicle near Exit 3A on Briley Parkway South late May 6th while working on his broken-down Tesla. After medics assessed him, they advised that he may have a broken foot. While in the back of the ambulance, Willis had become irate with responders, refusing to give them any information. During this, officers noticed he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment, so they cited him for the incident. Willis was booked on the citation of public intoxication on May 30th.

Vincent Scappator steals $60 worth of NBA trading cards from Target

27-year-old Vincent Scappator was caught stealing from Target on Old Hickory Boulevard on May 13th. Security observed Scappator open a $60 box of NBA trading cards, put them in his pocket, and walk out of the store. A search of his person revealed the stolen cards in his pocket. Officers cited him for the violation that day. Scappator was later booked on the citation of shoplifting on June 3rd.

Cory McClure arrested after woman calls 911 whispering “help”

36-year-old Cory Donte Mcclure had a domestic altercation with Lashaunda Douglas on June 3rd. Officers received a call for service regarding a welfare check after someone called 911 and whispered, “Help,” before disconnecting. Upon arrival, witnesses advised them that there was a female in the car, later identified as Douglas, in the driveway, who was assaulted by the man in the house, later identified as Mcclure. Officers tried to speak to Douglas, but she appeared heavily intoxicated. She could not specifically tell them what happened, how she sustained the visible injuries on her arm, or the minor laceration on her lip. While they were speaking with her, Mcclure emerged from the residence, sweating profusely and seemed to be out of breath.  He told officers that he and Douglas had a verbal dispute about him trying to retrieve his phone from her. He stated he was attempting to take her home due to her intoxication; however, he was also impaired. Mcclure insisted that nothing physical happened between the two. Witnesses from across the street told officers that when they returned home, they saw Mcclure reaching into the car and attacking Douglas, during which he was yelling about his phone and how he wanted it back. Mcclure was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Kylan Goliday throws phone in girlfriend’s face during argument about breaking up

20-year-old Kylan Goliday had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Tyonna Cox, at the Forrest Apartment Complex parking lot on Highway 70 South in the early hours of June 1st. Officers observed both parties swinging at each other but could not determine who initiated the scuffle or if they were hit. They spoke with Goliday, who initially said nothing physical happened between him and Cox before changing his story, stating that he threw his phone at her and accidentally hit her in the face. Cox confirmed Goliday threw the phone at her during an argument about ending their relationship, and she swung at him but missed. Goliday was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Lisa Clowes too drunk for Nashville International Airport

56-year-old Lisa Kathleen Clowes was observed lying down on the seats near gate B9 at Nashville International Airport in the afternoon hours of June 3rd. Officers conducted a welfare check and asked her to sit up to speak with them as they approached her, but she could not. She did not answer their questions and refused medical attention. During their interaction, they noticed she had trouble keeping her eyes open before admitting to consuming alcohol. Clowes was deemed a danger to herself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Chazz Jordan assaults girlfriend after argument about the children

36-year-old Chazz Jordan was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Jaqunita Bailey, at their Meridian Street residence on May 30th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Bailey, who expressed that she and Jordan were arguing about their children spending time with relatives. Bailey stated that during the argument, she called Jordan offensive names. According to Bailey, after name-calling Jordan, he pushed her, causing her to fall backward and hit her head on a piece of furniture. The other residents in the home came downstairs after hearing the commotion. One witness stated that they saw Bailey lying on the floor, and the other stated that they had seen Bailey on her feet fighting Jordan, but they both stated that Jordan initiated the physical contact, and he was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Levi Wheeler arrested two days in a row for assault at assisted living facility

25-year-old Levi Wheeler had an altercation with Devonzo Pye at a Rogers Williams Avenue Residence, an assisted living facility for individuals with mental and physical disabilities, on June 1st. When officers arrived, they spoke with Pye, who advised them that the top of his head was bleeding and requested medical assistance. He further explained that Wheeler entered his room and stole his tablet, so he followed him downstairs, which sparked an argument that escalated when he pushed Wheeler, causing him to trip over the furniture and onto the ground. While on the ground, Wheeler mounted Pye and started punching him on the head and in the face. Pye added that he hit him a few times to defend himself but was unaware of how his head started to bleed. Wheeler told officers that he was in the room “pleasuring himself” when Pye walked in, causing him to feel embarrassed, so he followed him into his room and stole his tablet, sparking a physical dispute. He claimed that Pye initiated the scuffle. The on-duty house manager spoke with police and told them she did not know what started the argument, but she overheard Wheeler yelling racial slurs at Pye, so she approached them, which was when she saw Wheeler hitting Pye.

The very next day, officers were dispatched to the same location due to another incident with Mr. Wheeler, but this time, the victim was an employee, Ms. Karen Foxx. The witness, Devonzo Pye, told officers that Wheeler threw Ms. Foxx to the ground and “threw rocks and stuff at her.” When officers spoke with Ms. Foxx, she stated that Wheeler slung her across the room and threw her into a wall, causing damage to the wall. She added that aside from the physical assault, Wheeler also stated, “N-word, I’m gonna hang you by a tree.” Officers noted that during their interaction, Wheeler was extremely disrespectful towards them and used derogatory terms

Walter Eaton steals iPad out of golf cart at parking garage on 5th Avenue

40-year-old Walter Eaton stole an iPad at a parking garage near 5th Avenue North on June 1st. When officers arrived on the scene, they immediately noticed that Eaton had been sprayed with chemical spray as well as been shot by a taser by Michael Siriyutwatana, a security. Officers were informed by staff that there was a video of the incident, which showed Eaton with two other individuals peeing on the wall of the parking garage. After walking away from the wall, Eaton had walked by a golf cart that Michael Shelton, another security guard at the parking garage, drove. Shelton briefly stepped away from the golf cart, and Eaton then proceeded to take the iPad from the cart, securing it inside a white SUV parked in the parking garage.

Deirtrice Young, another security guard at the parking garage, had witnessed the theft on security cameras and went to speak with Eaton. Security footage then shows Eaton aggressively walking toward Young, and her pushing him away to create space. The footage shows Siriyutwatana arrive on the scene attempting to detain Eaton, but he was not complying. Siriyutwatana then proceeded to spray Eaton with a chemical spray until he was down enough to be handcuffed. The video then shows Eaton springing up from the ground and attempt to walk away from them. Siriyutwatana then placed himself in front of Eaton to prevent him from leaving. Eaton then proceeded to charge at Siriyutwatana aggressively before Siriyutwatana pulled out a Taser and used it on Eaton, causing him to fall to the ground. Eaten was then taken into custody by officers and was charged with two counts of assault and one count of theft.

Jeffrey Mansir beats girlfriend with Yankee candle, strangles dog during argument

42-year-old Jeffrey Mansir was seen assaulting his girlfriend, Erin Ulvund, at an Ewing Drive residence on June 1st. Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with a neighbor who claimed they saw a naked woman yelling for help from the residence. Officers then went and spoke with Ulvund, who told officers that she and Mansir had gotten into a verbal altercation that turned physical. Ulvund told officers that following the argument, she went upstairs to separate but returned to apologize. Ulvund had held Mansir onto the couch to apologize, and he pushed her off of him, causing Ulvund to hit her head against the coffee table while falling. Ulvund then continued arguing with Mansir, accusing him of cheating before taking his phone upstairs into the bathroom. Mansir then entered the bathroom, pushing Ulvund against the wall by her neck, asking if she was recording him. Ulvund told officers that Mansir then demanded the video as well as the username and password for her Apple ID account. Ulvund told Mansir that she did not record him, but he did not believe her. Mansir then pulled Ulvund onto the bed and held her down before he started striking her in the face with a Yankee Candle. This caused severe bruising and swelling to her face.

Ulvund informed officers that Mansir told her, “I don’t want to go back to jail. I have to murder you,” before he grabbed a drill bit and put it to her neck. Mansir also held the drill bit to their dog’s neck as well as choking it, telling Ulvund that he would kill the dog. Ulvund told officers that her phone was shattered during the altercation. Ulvund ran outside and screamed for help in the front yard, getting her neighbor’s attention. Mansir then went outside and dragged Ulvund back into the house before she ran out to the residence’s backyard to yell for help again. Ulvund made it to her car and then fled the scene. Mansir was not on the scene when officers arrived, and while speaking with Ulvund, they were alerted of Mansir’s vehicle. Officers initiated a traffic stop on Mansir’s vehicle near an intersection of Ewing Drive and Brick Church. Officers spoke with Mansir, who stated that he and Ulvund argued earlier, but Ulvund was drunk while high on cocaine. Mansir told officers that she tried to apologize, but he pushed her, which caused her to hit her head. Mansir then claims he tried to make amends with Ulvund, but she left the scene. Mansir claims that he left the scene to avoid any more conflict but wanted to return so he could check on his dog. Officers also observed a significant amount of blood on the bed and bathroom of the residence. Due to the injuries and statements, Mansir was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for aggravated assault, animal cruelty, vandalism, and aggravated kidnapping.

Jordan Coile keys woman’s Volkswagen Jetta, causes $2,646 worth of damage

36-year-old Jordan Coile keyed Mariah Davis’ Volkswagen Jetta at her residence around 7:25 p.m. on January 10th. Davis said Coile got into a black Chevrolet Equinox and left the scene after keying her car. When Davis took her Jetta for an estimate at Daniel’s Paint and Body, she was quoted $2,646.18 to repair the damage. Then, Davis went to the South Precinct and identified Coile in a photo lineup. A warrant was issued for Coile’s arrest on January 22nd. Coile was later taken into custody for felony vandalism on June 2nd.
