Henry Bright attempts to perform “wrestling takedown” on man sparking multi-person brawl

22-year-old Henry Bright was involved in a brawl in the 8th Avenue South and Lea Avenue area on June 30th. When officers arrived and separated the group, Bright continued to be aggressive while the other members of the fight calmed down. A member of the brawl, Brandon Jones, stated that Bright started the altercation by starting an argument with him and the other individuals while they were in the car with each other. Brandon told officers that he got out of the vehicle to speak with Bright, but while doing so, Bright attempted to perform a “wrestling takedown” on him. As officers were taking Bright into custody, they observed that he exuded a strong odor of alcohol. Once questioned about the odor, Bright confessed that he had been drinking throughout the night. After Bright was taken into custody, he admitted that he did utilize a wrestling move on Jones but stated that it was in self-defense. Jones said that he wished to prosecute, so Bright was transported to booking and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and assault.

Daniel Feliciano attempts to enter security guard’s car in parking lot on Broadway

29-year-old Daniel Feliciano was seen attempting to enter a security guard’s car in the parking lot behind Barstool Nashville and Acme Feed & Seed at 1:05 a.m. on June 30th. When officers arrived, they observed Feliciano using a telephone pole to keep his balance. When asked if he could provide an address to be assisted off the street, Feliciano said he didn’t know where he was staying. He was then asked to call his friends to meet or help him with the address. Officers waited, but after multiple attempts, they took Feliciano into custody for public intoxication.

Little River Band Superfan Mark Owen banned from Symphony Center after causing disturbance

62-year-old Little River Band Superfan Mark Owen was seen causing a disturbance at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center at 9:20 p.m. on June 30th. When officers arrived, they learned that Owen was causing a disturbance because he couldn’t get a concert ticket to see the Little River Band. Owen complied after being asked to leave multiple times and was told not to come back; however, he returned shortly afterward. Employees flagged down officers for the incident, and Owen was taken into custody for criminal trespassing. Mark Owen is banned from Schermerhorn Symphony Center until April 2025.

DUI: Gillian Lado crashes her Volkswagen Jetta after having 1 vodka soda

24-year-old Gillian Lado was involved in a car accident at the intersection of Charlotte Avenue and 14th Avenue North at 11:42 p.m. on June 29th. When officers arrived, they approached Lado, who they reported smelt like alcohol and was visually impaired. Officers asked Lado how many drinks she had, and she replied that she only had one vodka soda. Lado agreed to perform sobriety tests, but while doing so, she showcased multiple indicators of intoxication. After being read her Miranda Rights and implied consent, she refused any chemical tests. Lado was then taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent violation on June 30th.

Garrett Everhart punches Uber driver multiple times demanding ride at Barstool Nashville

32-year-old Garrett Leon Everhart had an altercation with an Uber driver near Barstool Nashville around 1:50 a.m. on June 29th. The Uber driver yelled at officers for assistance. He advised them that Everhart had pulled on his door handles when they approached. After he told him multiple times that he was not his driver, Everhart demanded that he be his driver and punched him repeatedly, leaving visible marks. When officers stopped Everhart, they had difficulty understanding him and noticed he was visibly impaired. Officers deemed Everhart a danger to himself or others. Everhart was then taken into custody for public intoxication.

DUI: Quinton Christian argues with police after crashing his Tesla on I-24 East

49-year-old Quinton Christian was involved in a two-vehicle accident on I-24 East near Exit 60B around 1 a.m. on June 29th. When officers arrived, they gathered information from the drivers, Janzen Xayvong and Christian. During this, officers noticed Christian reeked of alcohol and had dilated pupils. He told police that he was driving the 2020 Tesla while bracing himself against a guardrail for stability. This caused officers to prompt Christian with sobriety tests, to which he consented and performed poorly. Officers asked him if he would finish the remainder of the tests at a safer location since they were on the interstate. Christian then became argumentative, so officers determined any further testing posed a safety risk and detained him for the incident. Christian refused to provide a chemical sample and was taken into custody for driving under the influence and an implied consent violation.

Brennan O’Donnell knocks down “no parking” barriers while drunk on Dr. M.L.K. Jr Boulevard

28-year-old Brennan Thomas O’Donnell pulled down a parking cone and knocked down metal “no parking” barriers while walking southbound on Dr. M.L.K. Jr Boulevard early June 29th. Patrolling officers observed this and approached him. Officers then noticed he showed signs of impairment. O’Donnell told officers he had been drinking and was confused about where he was staying or where he was going. Officers also noted that O’Donnell did not have a phone to call anyone. O’Donnell was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Nicholas Nelson screams at TSA agents while drunk at Nashville International Airport

26-year-old Nicholas Robert Nelson had gotten through a TSA security checkpoint and started screaming at TSA agents near Gate B6 in Nashville International Airport late June 28th. Officers observed him running toward them and determined he was highly intoxicated due to him reeking of alcohol and his incoherent speaking. Officers then spoke with Nelson’s girlfriend over the phone, where she told them Nelson had been drinking heavily earlier in the day. Nelson was then taken into custody for public intoxication on June 29th.

Brewery Owner Brian Rasdale grabs security officer by throat at Losers Bar & Grill

40-year-old owner of BAD Brewing Company Brian Robert Rasdale had an altercation with security at Losers Bar and Grill on June 28th. Security told responding officers that the bartender advised Rasdale that he needed to leave due to his intoxication. Then, when security informed Rasdale he had to leave, he initially agreed before becoming agitated. Rasdale then put his hands around a security officer’s throat. The security officer stated that he took Rasdale to the ground and he hit his face, causing his visible injuries. When medics arrived, Rasdale refused medical attention. Then, when officers spoke with Rasdale, he was extremely intoxicated and could not stand independently. At one point, he tried to walk away and almost fell over, so officers deemed him a danger to himself and others. Rasdale was taken into custody for public intoxication.

DUI: John Kettelle found sleeping in his truck at Bridgestone Parking Garage

24-year-old John Dunste Kettelle was found sleeping behind the wheel in his truck at the Bridgestone Parking Garage on June 29th. When officers arrived, they located Kettelle passed out with his keys in the ignition. Officers woke him up and had him exit the vehicle, during which they noticed he reeked of booze. Then, Kettelle stated he had been drinking with his friends downtown and decided to go to his car for a nap. He took sobriety tests and performed poorly before allowing officers to search his vehicle, where they found multiple beer cans inside a grocery bag on the backseat and in the truck bed. Kettelle refused to provide a chemical sample, so he was later taken into custody for driving under the influence and an implied consent violation.
