18-year-old Jarvis Jones was seen hitting his grandmother, Lisa Collier’s car at Vista Court on June 29th. When officers arrived and made contact with Jones, he admitted that he used a hammer to damage the vehicle. When asked why he did it, Jones said “he was bored and the car didn’t work.” Jones also stated that he didn’t like being home alone. Through further interaction, officers found that Collier was borrowing the vehicle that Jones damaged. While looking at the car, officers observed broken front and rear windows, a broken rearview mirror, broken off windshield wipers, the rear deck lid, and the speakers ripped out. May I suggest a name change from Turrell to Turd. If Grandma not going to prosecute, I hope the owner of the car does. And may he spend the rest of his summer doing manual labor to pay to get the car fixed.
