25-year-old Orrett Wayne Higgins had a domestic incident with his roommate, Brian St. Patrick Jones, at their shared household on June 25th. Jones told responding officers that Higgins approached him and placed a knife in his face, which sparked a fight. During the altercation, Higgins stabbed him in the leg. Two witnesses corroborated Jones’ statement. Officers observed that Jones had a large gash in his leg and was in visible pain while waiting for the medics’ arrival. Higgins was then taken into custody for aggravated assault.
Orrett Wayne Higgins was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 26th, charged with aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $75,000.
