58-year-old William McKeague had a domestic altercation with his wife, Marisela McKeague, near 3rd Avenue North and Broadway on July 26th. Responding officers spoke with THP Troopers, who stated that they detained Mr. McKeague after they noticed Mrs. McKeague with a bloody nose. Then, the police interviewed witnesses, including nearby security guards, who said they saw Mr. McKeague shove Mrs. McKeague.
When officers spoke with Mrs. McKeague, she told officers that Mr. McKeague was being escorted by security and that she believed that he unintentionally hit her in the face during the struggle. Mrs. McKeague stated this is what left lacerations on her nose. Mr. McKeague was then taken into custody for domestic assault.
William P. McKeague of Bal Harbor Drive in Chattanooga, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 26th, charged with domestic assault. He is free on a $2,000 bond.
