18-year-old Autumn Thornton had a domestic incident with her intimate partner, Lucas Wooten, at her Meadow Hill Drive residence in the early hours of August 8th. Later that day, Wooten called 911 to the Clarksville Pike Exxon and told them that he and Thornton had an argument that escalated when she hit him while having a vape in her hand. He further explained that he grabbed her vape and left her residence. Then, Wooten stated that he returned to her residence to give her vape back, adding that he threw it out of his vehicle when he arrived. Then, Wooten said that Thornton punched his car on the rear passenger side.

After this, officers went to Thornton’s home and spoke with her. Thornton stated that Wooten was being disrespectful, so she attempted to strangle him. She then told officers that Wooten left with her vape, and after she told him to bring it back, he pulled up and threw it out of his car. Then, Thornton admitted to hitting his vehicle but denied causing any damage. Officers observed visible injuries on Wooten’s neck and noticed damage to his car. Thornton was then taken into custody for vandalism and domestic assault.
