61-year-old Dean Dwayne Coxworth had fallen on Broadway late August 20th. Officers observed this and assisted additional units in helping Coxworth. When the police approached Coxworth, they noticed his friends were leaving him.
Officers spoke with him and found him to be heavily intoxicated, showing signs of impairment. Coxworth was deemed unable to care for himself and taken into custody for public intoxication on August 21st.
Dean Dwayne Coxworth was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 21st, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
