Laikyn Jones caught with numerous Oxycodone pills during traffic stop at Goodlettsville Middle School

20-year-old Laikyn Jones was pulled over for a moving violation at Goodlettsville Middle School on the morning of August 7th. When officers approached his vehicle, they noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the driver’s side. After retrieving her information, they had her pull into the Goodlettsville Church parking lot, away from the school. When questioned about the marijuana smell, Jones told officers that her boyfriend was sometimes in the vehicle.

Jones also admitted that there was possibly a digital scale inside the vehicle. At that time, officers conducted a probable cause search, during which they located 30 blue circle pills, later identified as Oxycodone Hydrochloride, inside a small Ziplock bag, 1.1 grams of marijuana, and a digital scale with residue. Jones was then taken into custody for simple possession, felony possession, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Laikyn Jones of Rolling Meadows Drive in Goodlettsville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 7th, charged with possession with intent, possession or casual exchange, and unlawful drug paraphernalia. She is free on a $5,000 bond.
