35-year-old Craig Ramsey had an altercation with an unidentified individual and a security guard, Ethan Herbert, at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in the early hours of September 5th. Responding officers spoke with security at the establishment. Police were advised that they had Ramsey detained for the scuffle and that the other person Ramsey hit had left the scene.
Then, Herbert told the police that he observed Ramsey attacking the unidentified patron before running to the back of the bar. Herbert said that when he went to detain him, Ramsey tried to punch him, resulting in Herbert cutting his hand on a beer bottle that was on the ground. Herbert informed officers that he wanted to press charges. Ramsey was taken into custody for assault.
Craig Ramsey of Cleveland Court in Merrillville, IN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 5th, charged with assault. He is free on a $1,500 bond.
