62-year-old Daniel O’Bryan was involved in a domestic altercation with his now recently ex-girlfriend, Viviana Solis, at his residence on August 10th. Officers received a call to meet with Solis on Neely’s Bend Road. When Solis met with the officers, she stated that she had received a message from O’Bryan that he wanted to see and talk to her about their relationship issues on August 4th. Solis told officers that on August 5th, she made contact with O’Bryan at his residence and found that he had been drinking. Solis stated that while she was in his bedroom, O’Bryan had placed an open condom wrapper near his bed to make her upset. Solis confronted O’Bryan about the condom wrapper, which quickly turned into an argument. During the argument, O’Bryan grabbed Solis’ shirt and ripped it off of her body.

Following this, O’Bryan knocked an item on the floor, so Solis picked it up. While she was picking it up, O’Bryan grabbed her by the back of her neck and held one of her arms behind her. After this, O’Bryan started accusing Solis of cheating while he was standing on top of his balcony. Solis told officers that she believed that O’Bryan was trying to jump off the balcony because he had one of his legs hanging over it. Solis stated that since then, she and O’Bryan have had one conversation in which she wanted him to take responsibility for his actions. Despite this, all O’Bryan would say was that he was intoxicated and didn’t know what he was doing. Solis then provided officers with a picture of an abrasion and scratch on the right side of her breast. When officers later came into contact with O’Bryan, he was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault on September 4th.

Daniel R. O’Bryan of 12th Ave South in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 4th, charged with domestic assault. He is free on a $1,500 bond.
