45-year-old locally famous TikToker Mildred Louise Murphy, Mikki, had a domestic altercation with her wife, Traci Vandebossche, on August 2nd. Mikki initially told responding officers nothing had happened before admitting that she and Vandebossche argued. The police noticed Vandebossche was quiet and looking down at the ground, so they pulled her aside. Vandebossche then stated that during their dispute, Mikki put her hands around her neck and strangled her, making it difficult to breathe.
Officers observed Vandebossche with red marks around her neck, which was consistent with her statements. Due to Vandebossche’s statements, officers detained Mikki. While in the back of the patrol car, Mikki openly admitted to strangling Vandebossche. A witness, Leslie Floyd, spoke with officers and corroborated Vandebossche’s statements. Mildred “Mikki” Murphy was taken into custody for aggravated assault. Mikki is well known on TikTok with over 60,000 followers and has amassed over 3 million likes on her videos.
Mildred Louise Murphy was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 2nd, charged with aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $20,000.
