Juan Rodriguez Mendez jailed after involvement in brawl in Bucanas Night Club parking lot

31-year-old Juan Jose Rodriguez Mendez was involved in a large fight at the Bucanas Night Club parking lot at 3:06 a.m. on June 22nd. While officers were responding to a call for service, they observed the brawl. This prompted officers to intervene and stop the fight. Mendez was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Treasure Bolden found sleeping in man’s vacant home

26-year-old Treasure Bolden was seen trespassing at a Lemont Drive residence on June 30th. Officers responded to a break-in at the location. When officers arrived, they spoke with Ulises Lagunas, who said he and his wife were trying to sell the residence. When Lagunas arrived at the location to check on the home, he heard people conversing inside. He also observed Bolden in a bed through the window. Officers then entered the location to clear it per Lagunas’ request and located Bolden sleeping in one of the bedrooms. Officers also found two crack pipes next to her. Bolden was then taken into custody for criminal trespass and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

DUI: Thomas Blackwell crashes his car after drinking two pints of beer at his job

64-year-old Thomas Blackwell was caught driving under the influence after a vehicle collision near Demonbreun Street and 2nd Avenue Street on June 30th. A woman flagged down officers and told them that she believed Blackwell to be under the influence. When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with Blackwell and immediately noticed the smell of alcohol coming from his breath. Officers also noticed his dilated pupils and glossy eyes. While speaking with officers, Blackwell admitted that he had consumed two pints of beer after his shift, before he started driving his vehicle. He also admitted to officers that he had been in traffic for an hour and a half, so that was how long ago he had consumed alcohol. Officers then asked Blackwell to perform sobriety tests, which he consented to. However, he performed poorly on one test and could not perform the others because of a medical issue with his feet. Blackwell was then deemed intoxicated and was taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent.

Kedarian Morgan assaults, aggressively drags woman into home in front of Lyft driver

22-year-old Kedarian Morgan was involved in a domestic altercation with Caribbia Brunson, one of his intimate partners, at a Highland Trace Drive residence on June 29th. Officers received a call from Howard Mooneyham, who informed them he was a Lyft driver sent to the residence to pick someone up. Mooneyham stated that when he arrived, he saw a female crying and a male screaming at her. Mooneyham stated the man forced the woman back into the residence. Officers then received another call from a second person who stated that a man named Keith was holding his girlfriend hostage and that the caller had received a picture of her with blood on her face.

When officers arrived on the scene, they noticed both Morgan and Brunson with cuts on their bodies and fresh blood on their faces, legs, and feet. Both of them claimed that they were wrestling on the bed when they knocked over the lamp on the nightstand, which shattered some glass. Officers then spoke with Mooneyham over the phone, who claimed that Brunson came from the left side of the house and Morgan came from the other side and aggressively grabbed Brunson. Mooneyham claims that Brunson then began screaming, “Let me go!” before Morgan started calling her names and forced her back inside the residence. However, Mooneyham did not recall seeing Morgan hit Brunson outside. However, he is sure he had witnessed the aggressive grabbing and forceful dragging. When officers spoke with the second caller again, he said he had received a text message from Brunson’s friend saying she was in trouble. Officers observed a screenshot of the message to officers showing Brunson with a bloody face while crying. Morgan was then deemed a threat and a primary aggressor, so he was taken into custody for false imprisonment and domestic assault.

DUI: Dominique Jackson found passed out in car, tells police Waffle House messed up his order

33-year-old Dominique Jackson was seen passed out behind the wheel at Waffle House on Murfreesboro Road on June 29th. Security informed officers that the driver and passenger of a vehicle were passed out in a car. Security claimed the pair had been there for almost two hours and attempted to wake them up but could not. Security also told officers that there was an open container of alcohol in the center console and that the driver appeared to be intoxicated. When officers arrived, they spoke with Jackson as he returned to the driver’s seat. When asked what was going on, Jackson told officers that Waffle House had messed up his order. When officers requested Jackson to perform sobriety tests, he agreed. However, Jackson showed numerous indicators of intoxication in two of the three tests. Officers also observed Jackson’s red, watery eyes before speaking with the passenger. When asked, the vehicle’s passenger informed officers that The Club Cocktail’s can was not hers. Jackson was deemed intoxicated and was then taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Rodney Alexander kicks door into roommate’s face during altercation

49-year-old Rodney Alexander was involved in a domestic altercation with his roommate, Johnqulia Amserson, at their Rivendell Court residence on June 29th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Amserson, who stated that when Alexander had left the residence the previous evening, he had either forgotten or lost his house keys. When Alexander returned to the house, he accused Amserson of locking him out and having other people in the residence. Amserson informed officers that as he was unlocking the door to let Alexander inside, Alexander kicked the door, causing it to hit him in the head, causing redness to his forehead. Amserson then proceeded to show officers camera footage showing Alexander talking on the phone while on the porch, cussing, and telling Amserson to let him inside. In the footage, officers heard the door begin to unlock when Alexander kicked the door and immediately heard Amserson groan in pain in the background. Officers then made contact with Alexander inside the residence. Alexander claimed that he had kicked the door open after Amserson had locked him out of the house and refused to let him inside. Alexander also denied injuring Amserson and claimed that he had injured himself. Due to the footage and statements made, Alexander was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Sara Keith assaults police officer during brawl outside of Morgan Wallen’s This Bar

23-year-old Sara Keith was seen pushing her boyfriend, Scott Aaron Satterfield Jr., and assaulting police officers outside of Morgan Wallen’s This bar near Boot Barn on Broadway on June 29th. When officers arrived on the scene, they observed three male individuals about to start fighting. As the officers moved to detain the victim, who was Keith’s boyfriend, Keith approached Officer Ferrari. Keith forcefully pushed the officer in an attempt to intervene and remove him from Satterfield Jr. Ferrari was able to get Keith back; however, she ignored all verbal commands and grabbed Officer Ferrari by his outer vest again to try and stop him from detaining Satterfield Jr. Proceeding this, Keith was detained as she had assaulted an officer. Officers then detained and spoke with two of the males from earlier, who said they were walking past a couple and noticed Satterfield Jr. striking Keith in the face. They immediately attempted to break up the fight, and that is when officers arrived. Officer Ferrari was able to obtain video footage of the incident that showed Keith violently pushing Satterfield Jr. three times before stepping out of camera view. Keith then stated that she and Satterfield Jr. had been together for one year and had no children. Officers then attempted to speak with Satterfield Jr., but he did not want to make a statement about what happened. Based on the footage and statements made, Keith was deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for domestic assault and assault on an officer.

Kirk Appleton resists arrest after being suspected of shoplifting at Target

41-year-old Kirk Appleton was seen shoplifting at the Target on Gallatin Pike North on June 25th. While officers were patrolling the area, they were flagged down by a Target loss prevention employee. She told officers that she observed Appleton stealing from the store. She went on to say that she had recovered the stolen property once she confronted him, but he ran away from her. During their conversation, Appleton was reported to be at the Rivergate Mall, so officers made their way to the parking lot, where they immediately found and detained Appleton. Appleton was asked to stand in front of the car, which he had initially done before deciding to leave the area. Officers followed Appleton and detained him again. While doing so, he began resisting officers by tensing his body up. Appleton continued to attempt to escape from the officers but was taken to the ground, where he was placed into custody for resisting arrest.

Amanda Natoli hits partner in the head with a Grey Goose bottle; asks “Where’s your whore”

43-year-old Amanda Natoli was involved in an altercation with her romantic partner Larry Brandridge at a TownePlace Suites Nashville Midtown on June 22nd. When authorities were contacted, they were advised that a loud disturbance was coming from the room where Natoli was residing. The hotel security knocked on the door to make contact with Brandridge. When Brandridge answered, he stated that Natoli attacked him with a bottle of Grey Goose. Brandridge was bleeding from his head and had red marks on his ribs and wrist. When asked what happened, he claimed that he and Natoli had been drinking on Broadway all day, and as the day went on, she became highly intoxicated. While they were walking on Broadway, the two got into an argument. When Brandridge and Natoli returned to their room, she started yelling, asking Brandridge, “Where’s your whore? I know you’re cheating.” The argument then escalated, and Brandridge attempted to call the hotel security; however, while he was doing so, Natoli struck him three times with a grey goose bottle, once in the head, once in the ribs, and once on the wrist. Officers observed the room in disarray, located shards of glass in Brandridge’s hair, and observed large pieces scattered throughout the room. Natoli was then taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Michael Mings fights with security at Margaritaville after refusing to throw drink away

42-year-old Michael Mings was seen visibly intoxicated in front of the Margaritaville bar on Broadway on June 22nd. When officers arrived, security at the location directed them at Mings. Officers observed that Mings was visibly impaired. Security went on to tell them that they saw Mings walking in front of the location with an open alcoholic beverage. They stated that they asked Mings to throw the drink away, but he refused. Once they took the beverage away, Mings became aggressive towards them, leading to an altercation. Security told police that they did not wish to press charges. After watching footage of the incident to gather further evidence, Mings was deemed a danger to himself and others, so he was taken into custody for public intoxication.
