Brandon Anthony assaults brother, kicks his door down during argument over trash

28-year-old Brandon Anthony was involved in a domestic altercation with his brother, Torrance Anthony, at a Westboro Drive residence on June 17th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Torrance, who told them that he and Brandon had gotten into a fight because he believed Brandon was going to assault him. Torrance claimed the two verbally argued about trash when he went into his room and closed the door. At this point, Brandon began kicking the door in an attempt to knock it down. Torrance then opened the door, assumed his brother was going to attack him, and put Brandon inside a headlock. Torrance and Brandon struggled throughout the home, fell to the ground, and separated. Officers observed damage to Torrance’s door, which was consistent with his statements. Officers then spoke with Brandon, who informed officers that the fight had started because Torrance had thrown trash in his room. Brandon stated this caused him to become angry and get into a fighting stance. Torrance responded to this by punching Brandon, which started the fight. Brandon also said that he did not remember anything after Torrance struck him. Officers then spoke with their father, William Anthony, who stated Torrance called him because Brandon was being violent but did not witness the assault. William told officers that he also saw Brandon break a vehicle window as well. Officers observed the injuries and deemed Brandon to be the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

DUI: Donovan Fayne blows .159% BAC after crashing car, tells police someone cut him off

26-year-old Donovan Fayne was seen drunk after getting into a car wreck near Bell Road on June 16th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Fayne, who stated that when he was driving, someone cut him off, and he swerved to avoid the vehicle. When officers spoke with the victim of the crash, they noticed the smell of alcohol coming from Fayne, as well as Fayne’s red, watery eyes. When officers asked about the smell, Fayne admitted having two drinks an hour before. Officers then asked him to perform sobriety tests, which he consented to but showed several indicators of intoxication. Fayne agreed to take a breathalyzer test, which resulted in .159% BAC. Charles Bledsoe slams ex-girlfriend on pavement after stealing her phone

27-year-old Charles Bledsoe was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Aiden Springfield, at a Charlotte Avenue apartment residence on May 13th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Springfield, who claimed Bledsoe fled. Springfield told officers that she had invited him over for the evening. When he came over, he became upset and grabbed her phone. Proceeding this, Springfield asked Bledsoe multiple times to return her phone, but Bledsoe refused. Bledsoe then went outside into the parking lot with the phone, and Springfield followed. Springfield claimed that once in the parking lot, Bledsoe had assaulted her. She claims that he picked her up and forcefully threw her to the ground, causing her face to bounce off the concrete. Springfield stated that after this, Bledsoe returned her phone, and Springfield went inside to call the police. Officers observed Springfield’s injuries, noticing a significant red mark on the left side of her face and a rash on the side of her chin from being thrown to the pavement. Once the police were called, Bledsoe fled the scene. A month ago, officers were called to the same address for a similar incident where Bledsoe had assaulted Springfield in the kitchen. Bledsoe was deemed the primary aggressor, and a warrant was issued that day. Bledsoe was later taken into custody for domestic assault on June 14th.

Tayuanna Eaton punches ex-boyfriend in face after he talks about her mother

26-year-old Tayuanna Eaton was involved in a domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend and roommate, Diazhon Butler, at their Chimney Top Drive apartment residence on June 16th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Eaton, who claimed that she and Butler were verbally arguing when Butler said something about her family. This caused Eaton to become upset, striking him. Eaton claimed that they both began fighting after she struck him but was unsure about how many times or where she hit Butler. Officers then spoke with Butler, who explained that Eaton got upset about a statement he made regarding her mother. Proceeding this, Eaton then punched him in the face, causing a busted lip and bloody nose. Officers noticed Butler’s busted lip, which was documented. Due to Butler’s injuries and the statements made, Eaton was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Ortega Miranda dances around, scares customers while tweaking on Fentanyl in Taco Bell

22-year-old Ortega Miranda was seen publicly intoxicated at a Taco Bell near Hickory Hollow Lane on June 15th. When officers arrived on the scene, they noticed Miranda frantically wiping down the countertop and soda machine inside the business. Officers then asked Miranda to leave and noted his unsteadiness on his feet. While officers questioned Miranda, he was unable to speak in clear sentences. Officers then spoke with Taco Bell staff, who told them that he had been dancing in the store before he started banging on the soda machine. The employees also told officers that Miranda was scaring customers inside the business, so they called the police. While Miranda was on the sidewalk, he could not sit still and began rocking back and forth constantly. Miranda then laid on his back, and started rubbing his face. When asked about his intoxication level, Miranda admitted to officers that he had used Fentanyl the prior night. Officers received a similar call from a McDonald’s on the same road, verifying it was the same person on both properties. Officers deemed Miranda to be a danger to himself, so he was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Jonathan Shannon strikes woman in face because dinner wasn’t made when he got home

49-year-old Jonathon Shannon was involved in a domestic altercation with Buckner Latoya at a Glenmeade Drive residence on June 1st. When officers arrived, they spoke with Latoya, who stated that she had spoken with Shannon earlier in the day, telling him that there was meat to make tacos but that she needed other ingredients. Latoya then told officers that Shannon had left the residence to go to the liquor store. When Shannon returned, he became upset that dinner had not been made because he was hungry. Shannon then struck Latoya in the face with his palm, causing her upper lip to bleed and become swollen. Latoya then called the police, causing Shannon to flee the scene. A warrant was issued for Shannon’s arrest that day. Shannon was taken into custody for domestic assault on June 12th.

When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Torren, who stated that he had gotten into an argument with Keonta, his son. Torren told officers that Keonta punched him multiple times in the face. Officers observed the swelling as well as a small cut to his face and a bloody nose. Keonta was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Errica Davis assaults roommate, destroys his phone while he tries to move out

26-year-old Errica Davis was involved in a domestic altercation with Timothy Spears, a roommate, at a Murfreesboro Pike Apartment residence on June 12th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Spears, who told officers that he came to the location to get the rest of his things so he could move out. Spears stated that while he was gathering his things, Davis became aggressive and locked him out of the bedroom. Spears’ phone was inside the bedroom, and when he was able to get inside the bedroom and recover his phone, the screen was shattered, which was observed by officers. Spears also informed officers that Davis had pushed him multiple times and grabbed him by the shirt collar, pulling him around. Davis then grabbed Spears’ shorts pocket, pulling him into the kitchen counter and injuring his wrist. Officers then spoke with Davis, who stated that Spears pushed her, so she locked herself in the bedroom. When she finally left the room, Spears went inside and grabbed his phone, but she claimed she did not know why his phone was broken. After seeing the phone and Spears’ torn clothes, officers determined Davis to be the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault and vandalism.

Malcolm X. Townsend violently shakes girlfriend during argument

32-year-old Malcolm Xavier Townsend was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Constance Johnson, at a Moss Rose Drive residence on June 11th. Officers received a report of a burglary in progress, and when officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Johnson. Johnson told officers that she had entered her own home and was not breaking in. Johnson was able to prove to officers that she lived at the address. Johnson informed officers that she had argued with Townsend the night before. Johnson stated that as she left the house last night, Townsend grabbed both her arms and shook her in frustration. Johnson showed officers bruising on her upper arms that was caused by Townsend shaking her. Officers also observed text messages between Townsend and Johnson that consisted of Johnson informing Townsend that he hurt her and showed photographed proof of her injuries. Due to the bruising, officers determined Townsend to be the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Joiunyque Maynard strangles mother during argument over phone bill

23-year-old Joiunyque Maynard was involved in a domestic altercation with her godmother and roommate, Sunnie Reed, at their residence on June 8th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Maynard, who stated that she was walking to the pool when Reed called her and asked her about the phone bill. After this, she went back to the residence, which is where the verbal argument started. During the argument, Maynard’s biological mother, Tranika Smith, arrived at the residence. Maynard admitted to officers that during the argument, she shoved Reed in the neck but was pushed away. Maynard admitted after being pushed away, she choked her mother, Tranika Smith, with both of her hands until Reed pulled her off. Maynard then proceeded to throw things outside as she was leaving the residence. Officers then spoke with Reed and Smith, who corroborated Maynard’s statements. Smith also informed officers that her blood flow felt restricted during the choking. When officers went to place Maynard into custody, she attempted to attack Smith again and resisted officers. Maynard was taken into custody for domestic assault, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault.
