20-year-old Aaliyah Crouch was caught driving a stolen vehicle at the Nashville International Airport near BNA Park Drive on August 22nd. Officers received a report that a stolen 2003 Ford Escape valued at $2,700 had entered terminal garage one. Patrol units searched both terminal garages and were notified by dispatch that the stolen vehicle had been located on the fifth floor of terminal garage one. Security footage confirmed that Johnson had driven from the bus area to the ride-share lot. Due to his difficulty standing, Johnson needed the officers’ assistance. During a conversation with Johnson, the officers detected the smell of alcohol on his breath. Johnson agreed to perform sobriety tests but performed poorly on all of them. Based on his test performances and overall behavior, Johnson was arrested for driving under the influence and having an open container of alcohol on August 23rd.

Bradford Parker assaults fiancĂ©, douses puppy in cold water during altercation, tells her “I hate you so much!”

38-year-old Bradford Parker was involved in a domestic altercation with his fiancĂ©, Charlotte Bennis, while at their Shurgard Way residence on August 21st. When officers arrived, they made contact with Bennis, who appeared distraught and had red eyes from crying. She informed officers that she came home from work earlier to care for their dogs. Bennis explained that as she entered their home, Parker began taking pictures of her, saying, “I’m going to get you fired from your job.” Bennis informed Parker that she was allowed to take lunch breaks before giving the dogs a bath. Parker entered the bathroom and told her, “I hate you so much.” After that, Parker aggressively pushed her on the head and told her to leave the apartment, saying she was not welcome. Bennis mentioned that one of the puppies peed on the floor when he did this. In response to this, Parker threw cold water on the puppy. Bennis then left the scene to call the police. Bennis added that Parker had changed the locks to the apartment and would not let her in. Due to the statements made, Parker was deemed the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Nickolas Rodman booked after stealing clothing items from JCPenney

38-year-old Nickolas Rodman was seen shoplifting at a JCPenney on Rivergate Parkway on July 20th. When officers arrived, they spoke with loss prevention at JCPenney. Loss prevention stated that they observed Rodman grab numerous clothing items and roll them up. They claimed that after Rodman did this, he exited the store without paying for any items. Rodman was then cited for the incident that day. Rodman was later booked on the citation for theft on August 19th.

Christopher Hatfield indicted by Grand Jury for multiple counts of rape

A Davidson County Grand Jury had indicted 34-year-old Christopher Hatfield for one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child, one count of aggravated sexual battery, one count of child rape, and two counts of statutory rape as an authority figure that occurred between the dates of July 15th, 2013, and November 14th, 2023. The indictment alleges that Hatfield engaged in multiple acts of sexual abuse with a child at least thirteen times. It says that he unlawfully and knowingly engaged in sexual contact with the child. In some instances, Hatfield had a position of trust or disciplinary power over the child and used this possession to have intercourse with the child. Hatfield was taken into custody on August 21st, 2024. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $200,000.

Ladacia Allen punches coworker during argument over work truck charging ports

29-year-old Ladacia Allen was caught after assaulting her coworker, Faith Jacks, while in their work truck on July 26th. That day, Jacks spoke to officers and informed them that she and Allen began arguing while in their work truck. However, the argument escalated to them pushing each other’s hands from the car’s charging ports. Jacks informed officers that after this, she called Allen a “B*tch.” In response to this, Allen swung and punched her in the face. Officers then spoke with Allen, who confirmed they were arguing over the charge ports. Allen also admitted that when Jacks called her a “B*tch,” she smacked her in the face. Allen was issued a citation for the incident that day. Allen was later booked on the citation for assault on August 19th.

Ayesha Battle hits security guard in head with glass bottle at Whiskey Row

34-year-old Ayesha Battle was caught after hitting Leah Garcia, a security guard, with a glass bottle at Whiskey Row on Broadway on August 21st. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Garcia, who stated that Battle had struck her in the forehead with a glass bottle. Garcia then showed officers camera footage of the incident. Officers observed Battle swing the glass bottle at Garcia and then swing it once more, where she was struck. The bottle caused injuries to Garcia’s forehead, which officers observed. Officers then spoke with Battle, and during questioning, she admitted that she swung the bottle at Garcia. Battle was then deemed the primary aggressor. Battle was then deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on August 22nd.

DUI: Amanda Loreman crashes car after having glass of wine with dinner

33-year-old Amanda Loreman was caught driving under the influence after being involved in a car crash near Sapphire & Sage on Gallatin Pike on August 20th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Loreman. She admitted that she was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. Loreman claimed that while she was driving down Gallatin Pike, she was hit by someone. While speaking with Loreman, officers noticed the faint smell of alcohol on her breath. Officers also noticed she was unsteady on her feet and her eyes were bloodshot. When asked if she had anything to drink, Loreman admitted to officers that she had a glass of wine with dinner. Officers then asked Loreman to perform sobriety tests, which she consented to. However, she performed poorly and showed numerous signs of impairment. Loreman was then taken into custody for driving under the influence and refusing implied consent on August 21st.

Mario Twitty steals man’s cell phone at WeGo Central Bus Station, immediately sells it at nearby EcoATM

46-year-old Mario Twitty was caught after stealing a cell phone near the WeGo Central bus station on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard on June 9th. Clarence Allen reported to officers that he had left his cell phone near his belongings on a bench in the bus station. Allen stated he had walked away briefly and when he returned, he realized that his cell phone was gone. Officers conducted a search using the cell phone’s information through their online database. The database showed that the phone was deposited into an EcoATM located at Dollar General on Dr DB Todd Jr Boulevard. The phone was deposited on the same day, thirty minutes after the phone was stolen. Twitty was seen on EcoATM cameras wearing the same clothing and matching the description of the suspect who stole the phone. During the transaction, Twitty provided his driver’s license, which police used to identify him. The stolen phone’s value was less than $1,000. A warrant was issued, and Twitty was later taken into custody for property theft on August 16th.

Sterling Merrill breaks girlfriend’s nails after jumping on top of her during argument

23-year-old Sterling Merrill was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Nicole Gardinier, while at a Lucile Street Apartment on August 21st. When the officers arrived, they spoke to Gardinier, who mentioned that she had been arguing with her boyfriend, Merrill. Gardinier noted that the police were called and had shown up earlier due to their argument. Gardinier claimed that after the police left, the argument continued. She stated that the argument escalated while she was sitting on her bed. Gardinier then claimed Merrill pushed her down before getting on top of her and yelling at her. She added that she tried to get Merrill off her but was unsuccessful, and in the process, she broke two nails. Officers examined her hand and confirmed that two nails were broken, which aligned with her account. Additionally, officers spoke with neighbors who reported yelling and banging in the apartment. Merrill was then deemed the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.
