Samuel Keener shatters roommate’s window, tells her mother “I am going to f*ck her up!”

31-year-old Samuel Keener was involved in a domestic altercation with his roommate, Isabella Burks, while at a Tennessee Avenue residence on August 9th. Burks reported that when she got home from work, Keener was inside the apartment and was loading a firearm. She alleged that after Keener finished loading the gun, he waved it in the air to make sure she saw it and smiled. After this, Burks says Keener started fighting with another person inside the residence. When Burks and her friend tried breaking up the fight, Keener began walking in and out of the apartment while yelling and screaming at the man and Burks. Keener then allegedly started screaming, “I am going to kill you,” towards Burks before yelling at Burks’s mother and saying, “I am going to f*** her up; you are going to have to call an ambulance.”  Keener then allegedly left the residence, and when he returned, he found out that Burks had locked the door for her safety. Keener then threw an object at the window and shattered it. Burks alleged she was in fear of injury during the entire incident. Keener would not make any statements about the threats he made towards Burks. Officers deemed Keener to be the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Cristian Cortes damages girlfriend’s windshield after she puts him to bed before going to Broadway

27-year-old Cristian Cortes was seen vandalizing his girlfriend, Doraluz Hernandez’s vehicle, while at a Fern Avenue residence on August 10th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Hernandez, who claimed that Cortes had broken her right side mirror and cracked her windshield. Hernandez explained to officers that Cortes had woken up earlier in the day and began drinking. However, he was put to sleep by friends because he was intoxicated and began acting aggressively. Hernandez informed officers that later that day, while she was on Broadway, Cortes began sending her threatening messages. Officers were shown texts where Cortes stated that he was getting back with his ex-girlfriend and another text saying that she should kill herself. Officers also saw that he had sent Hernandez photos of her car with the damage done to it. Officers then spoke with Cortes, who arrived on the scene. Cortes admitted to breaking the mirror on her vehicle because he was angry, and they were arguing. When asked about the windshield, he denied destroying it, claiming he did not remember. Officers then determined Cortes to be the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for vandalism.

Derik Chandler assaults loss prevention officer while stealing $200 worth of merchandise at Walmart

24-year-old Derik Chandler was caught after assaulting Philip McCoy Jr while at a Walmart on Charlotte Pike on June 19th. On that day, McCoy, a Walmart loss prevention officer, reported to the police that he had seen Chandler and another man behaving erratically on camera. McCoy mentioned that he approached the two individuals and was on the phone with Walmart security to inform them of the situation. McCoy then noticed one of the men holding a laundry basket filled with health and beauty products worth $200. While McCoy was still on the phone, one of the individuals approached McCoy and hit him on the head, causing injuries. Chandler and the other individual then fled through an emergency door without returning the stolen items. On August 11th, McCoy called the police again after noticing the same individuals inside Walmart. The officers arrived and detained Chandler, then watched video footage from McCoy that showed the June 19th assault. Officers determined the footage showed Chandler as the one who assaulted McCoy. Chandler was then taken into custody for assault and theft on August 12th.

DUI: Brandy Snowden crashes car on Church Street after drinking Voodoo Ranger IPA

43-year-old Brandy Snowden was caught driving under the influence after a vehicle wreck at the intersection of church street and 1st Avenue North on August 8th. A report came in about a car accident, and the caller mentioned that Snowden seemed drunk. When the officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with Snowden. Officers immediately noticed the smell of alcohol on her breath. Officers also observed her slurred speech, dilated pupils, and unsteadiness on her feet. Upon request, Snowden agreed to perform sobriety tests but performed poorly on them. As a result, Snowden was detained, and officers searched her vehicle. During the search, officers found a loaded handgun in her purse within reach, as well as a cup in her cupholder that smelled of alcohol. Additionally, officers found a half-full Voodoo Ranger IPA in her vehicle’s backseat. Snowden chose not to communicate with the officers and refused a blood test. Snowden was taken into custody for carrying a weapon while under the influence, driving under the influence, implied consent violation, and possession of an open container of alcohol on August 9th.

Quentoria Turner-Randle damages grandma’s car, assaults 4-year-old cousin during confrontation over marijuana

19-year-old Quentoria Turner-Randle was caught after vandalizing her grandmother, Marshalendle Randle’s property, while at an Andrew Jackson Parkway residence on July 31st. On that day, when officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with Marshalendle, who stated that Quentoria had vandalized her vehicle and assaulted her 4-year-old cousin. Marshalendle informed officers that Quentoria came home at 8 in the morning and went straight to her room. Marshalendle stated while she was in the kitchen, she smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the hallway. Marshalendle claims that she went to Quentoria’s room and asked her to put the marijuana outside. However, Quentoria became angry, leading to an argument between her and Marshalendle.

Quentoria left the room and went to the hallway where her little cousin was. Quentoria then pushed the 4-year-old into a wall using her right arm and said, “Get out of the way.” Marshalendle then told officers that Quentoria continued to walk through the house. She stated Quentoria began knocking things off the shelves and breaking candles and dinner plates. Marshalendle then watched Quentoria grab a sharp object from the ground outside and vandalize her vehicle, causing scratches and marks that officers observed. Officers then spoke with Eric Turner, Marshalendle’s brother, who informed them that he had seen Quentoria vandalize Marshalendle’s vehicle. Quentoria was not on the scene, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Quentoria was later found and taken into custody for domestic assault and vandalism on August 8th.

Brandy Braly throws large rock at car while causing scene at Dunkin Donuts

34-year-old Brandy Braly was observed trespassing and being disorderly at a Dunkin’ Donuts on Rosa L Parks Boulevard on August 8th. When police arrived, they engaged with Braly to offer assistance. Despite this, Braly continued to have strangers call 911 for various reasons. It was discovered that the day before, Braly had been asked to leave Nashville’s rescue mission. Braly was then sent to a mental health cooperative, where she refused to participate in the program. Despite being offered assistance by officers, Braly refused all help and was asked to leave the Dunkin’ Donuts by the staff. As officers were leaving, they saw Braly return to the Dunkin’ Donuts. Braly then picked up a large rock and threw it at an occupied vehicle in the parking lot, causing damage. The vehicle owner did not wish to prosecute. Braly was taken into custody for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Joseph Morgan caught with meth & cocaine while driving on suspended license at Shell Gas Station

42-year-old Joseph Morgan was caught with meth and cocaine while at a Shell Gas Station on Long Hollow Pike on August 8th. When the officers arrived, they spoke with Morgan, who informed them that he had driven to the gas station. Morgan stated he was driving Courtney Cirelli to her parent’s home in Memphis. Officers then spoke with Cirelli, who suggested they search the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, the officers found a loaded syringe containing 36ccs of a clear substance, which Morgan admitted to being methamphetamine. They also found a cut straw with white powder residue that later tested positive for cocaine. Upon checking Morgan’s information, the officers discovered that he was a registered sex offender.

Further investigation revealed that Morgan had been charged with failure to report as a sex offender in multiple counties in Florida and Kentucky. Morgan had also failed to report as a sex offender upon entering Tennessee. In addition, Morgan’s Kentucky driver’s license was found to be suspended. Morgan was then taken into custody for possession of meth, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.

Jacoby Lovett causes scene at Opry Mills Mall after not being able to provide ID

26-year-old Jacoby Lovett was seen criminally trespassing after refusing to leave the Opry Mills Mall on Opry Mills Road on September 10th, 2022. On that day, Lovett entered the mall and was asked by security to show identification because no one under 18 was allowed inside the mall past a certain time. Lovett could not show ID, so the officers asked him to leave, which he did. As Lovett was leaving, he began causing a scene. A few moments later, Lovett reappeared and attempted to walk past security without showing his ID. He was stopped, became loud and disorderly, and asked security officers to step outside to “handle it.” The officers complied, and Lovett began yelling at them. One of the officers placed his hand on his weapon but did not draw it. Lovett then told the officer, “I got one of those too.” Prompting the officer to call for backup, which promptly arrived and detained Lovett. Lovett was then issued a citation for criminal trespassing due to the incident. Lovett did not appear in court and was later booked on the citation for criminal trespass on August 8th, 2024.

Miguel Fielden booked after stealing sex toy from Spencer’s at Opry Mills Mall

19-year-old Miguel Fielden was caught after stealing at the Opry Mills Mall on Opry Mills Drive on July 20th. On that day, an Employee of Opry Mills reported that he had observed Fielden steal from Spencer’s. The employee stated they observed Fielden open the box to a sex toy, conceal it on his person, and flee the scene by walking past all points of sale. Fielding was then found and issued a citation that day. Fielden was later booked on the citation for theft on August 6th.

DUI: Patricia Ash caught with opened bottle of Jim Beam in purse after blocking traffic lane

65-year-old Patricia Ash was caught driving under the influence at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Rachels Lane on August 7th. Officers noticed a vehicle blocking a lane and conducted a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers observed that both passenger-side tires were blown off. When speaking with Ash, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, officers noticed her slurred speech and the smell of alcohol coming from her vehicle. When asked by officers, Ash admitted to having consumed a half glass of wine earlier in the day. Ash was then asked to step out of the vehicle and perform sobriety tests. However, she was unable to do so safely, leading to a quick conclusion. Ash was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody for driving under the influence. While in custody, Ash was unable to provide a breath sample due to a medical condition she had, as well as her being a smoker. Additionally, officers found an opened bottle of Jim Beam Kentucky Fire inside her purse during a search of her vehicle. Ash was later transported and charged with driving under the influence and having an open container of alcohol on August 8th.
