Anthony Douglass assaults girlfriend for not giving him her phone in Taco Bell

25-year-old Anthony Douglass was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Glenna Fuston,in Taco Bell on Murfreesboro Pike on July 13th. Officers arrived at the Taco Bell for a call for service and made contact with the Taco Bell manager. The manager of Taco Bell informed officers that a Caucasian man and woman had come into the restaurant arguing and that it seemed like the female was running away from him. The couple, identified as Douglass and Fuston, were not on the scene when officers arrived. While leaving the Taco Bell, officers were then flagged down by an off-duty officer who told them the two were waiting near La Luna Bakery also on Murfreesboro Pike. Officers then went to the location, found Douglass and Fuston, then spoke with Fuston. She claimed that she and Douglass had gotten into a verbal altercation over a phone. Fuston said she was walking away from Douglass when he pulled on her backpack. After this, officers noticed numerous scratches and bruises on Fuston’s arm, and when asked, Fuston admitted they were from Douglass pulling her backpack. When officers spoke with Douglass, he made similar statements, admitting he wanted her phone, so he pulled her bag as she walked away. Due to the injuries and statements made, Douglass was deemed the primary aggressor. Douglass was taken into custody for domestic assault.
