Christopher Griffith strangles man & breaks his nose after attacking him at Rippy’s Honky Tonk

22-year-old Christopher Bradley Griffith had an altercation with Dilrasingh Dhaliwal at Rippy’s Honky Tonk around 8:27 p.m. on July 20th. Officers were flagged down by security and advised that Dhaliwal had been assaulted and needed medical attention. When they arrived, they observed Dhaliwal bleeding severely from his head. Then, a witness, Sean Alex Miller, stated he was standing next to Dhaliwal when Griffith strangled him and started punching him repeatedly before taking him to the ground. Griffith then kept hitting Dhaliwal in the face until the scuffle was broken up. Miller said that Griffith ran out of the bar once the altercation was broken up but was stopped and detained by security at the location. Dhaliwal told officers he had lost consciousness from the hits and that NFD medics declared his nose broken. He was then transported to Centennial Hospital for further evaluation. Griffith did not provide a statement regarding the occurrence and was then taken into custody for aggravated assault on July 21st.
