Douglas Burton jailed after being refused entry into Honky Tonk Central for being too drunk

30-year-old Douglas Burton showed signs of impairment at Honky Tonk Central late September 7th. Security from the location flagged officers down. Officers were advised that Burton tried entering the bar but was denied service because of his intoxication level. Security added that Burton refused to leave the establishment until law enforcement arrived. Then, the police gave Burton a warning, and he walked away. Officers watched Burton to ensure that he did not try to re-enter the business and to ensure that he had people with him to care for him. While watching Burton, he approached a random group of people, asking for a cigarette. During this, he could not maintain his balance and started touching the individuals as he talked to them. After noticing this, Burton was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
