Billy Curtis jailed after escaping Davidson County Drug Court in 2021

25-year-old Billy Curtis escaped from the Davidson County Drug Court facility between 10 p.m. on May 7th, 2021, and 3 a.m. on May 8th, 2021. Responding officers searched the nearby area and could not locate him. The Davidson County Drug Court employee told the police that they had last seen Curtis in his private room wearing a black-and-white-striped prisoner suit around 10 p.m. on May 7th. He added that later that night, when he checked on Curtis again, he discovered that Curtis’ window was open. After checking the premises, he confirmed that Curtis escaped the location. The police report said they believed he was returning to McMinn County in Tennessee. A warrant was then issued for Curtis’ arrest that day. Curtis was later taken into custody for escaping and two counts of probation violation on August 29th, 2024.

MNPD allows man to drive away after he says he feels harassed, calls 911 for supervisor, and refuses to exit vehicle to be arrested on felony charges

Fonseca now had pending charges for felony reckless endangerment and felony evading arrest, and was less than a foot from MNPD officers, inside his van, refusing to exit the vehicle.
