Saory Espinoza caught with 195 grams of marijuana after friend speeds down Donelson Pike

20-year-old Saory Espinoza rode as a passenger while Joshua Lira sped and swerved between lanes in his silver Infiniti near Donelson Pike around 7:15 p.m. on April 30th. While officers patrolled airport property, they observed this and conducted a traffic stop on the car. Officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, giving them probable cause to search the car. During their search, they located a black Calvin Klein backpack in the backseat containing 195 grams of marijuana, separated into small baggies and a small scale. Lira had $350 in cash on his person and advised officers that the contents of the bag belonged to Espinoza. Espinoza corroborated Lira’s claim and admitted the bag was hers. Espinoza was then taken into custody for felony possession of Schedule IV drugs.
