“Miss Pink” Kyndrea Olawumi punches woman multiple times while fighting her brother

21-year-old Kyndrea Olawumi had an altercation with Imuetiyanna Cantrell at a Cannon Street residence in the early hours of August 30th. Cantrell told responding officers that she was breaking up a fight between Olawumi and Olawumi’s brother. Cantrell further explained that while trying to separate them, Olawumi started punching her multiple times. Cantrell said this left her with a swollen lip and a bruised arm. Then, Cantrell said that she wanted to press charges for the incident. Cantrell provided officers with Olawumi’s identity and her nickname, which was “Pink.” She added that Olawumi was intoxicated and wearing a pink shirt and bonnet. Then, the police performed a “knock-and-talk” at the Cannon Street residence. However, Olawumi was not there. Officers later found a woman matching the description of Olawumi at the Charles E. Davis Boulevard and Cannon Street intersection. Officers called out to “Miss Pink,” causing Olawumi to stop walking. The police then conducted a Terry stop, where Olawumi admitted to consuming alcohol and hitting Cantrell. Olawumi was taken into custody for assault.
