61-year-old Karen Renee Vaughn stole from her sister, Janet Dixon, on June 1st. On June 18th, Dixon reported that Vaughn had been on her boat about a month prior and had access to her purse, where she kept her spare key to Four Corners Marina. Dixon said that on June 1st, Vaughn unlocked the gate to the marina, went on her boat, and took her property without her consent. A warrant was then obtained for Vaughn’s arrest. Dixon’s boat was valued at $1,000. Vaughn was later taken into custody for theft on July 29th.
