James Pridemore threatens woman with knife after she kicks him out of her shed

31-year-old James Tyler Pridemore was taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on June 14th. On April 29th, officers were advised by Deborah Bistodeau, a witness, that Pridemore raised his right arm, holding a knife in a threatening manner while yelling, “You bitch! You bitch!” to her daughter, Deana Rae Bistodeau. Then, Deana explained that after Pridemore had been released from jail on April 27th, she allowed him to sleep in her shed. On April 28th, Deana gave Pridemore a ride to get his car out of impound, and when he returned, she told him he could not stay anymore because of his Fentanyl use. Pridemore put his belongings into two backpacks, put them in his vehicle, and left the residence. Then, Deana said, on April 29th, he returned to her house and became upset that she was moving her cabinets into the shed. Pridemore pulled out a 2.5-inch-long pocketknife, waved it around, pointed it at her, and yelled profanities at her. Deborah was on Facetime with Deana during the incident and added that she asked Deana if that was a gun Pridemore had in his right hand when he raised it. Deana replied to Deborah, “No, it’s a knife.” Afterward, Deana issued an order of protection against Pridemore. Then, officers obtained a warrant for his arrest on May 17th, and he was later detained for the occurrence.
