19-year-old Greg Bean stole his girlfriend, Kenya Richardson, ‘s red 2010 Nissan Maxima on June 7th. Eugenia Elizabeth Lockridge, Kenya’s grandmother, bought her the car. Richardson told officers that she allowed Bean to drive it, but he was supposed to return it that afternoon. Then, she said he told her he would keep it. She showed officers two text messages he had sent corroborating her statement, which read, “Well, I guess we both gone go to jail since we playing jail games you gone go to jail for putting your hands on me everybody heard you admit to you smacking me n Yu can block me all you want,” and, “Bro no this is my car.” A warrant was issued for his arrest. and Bean was taken into custody for vehicle theft on June 8th.
