Danielle Burford assaults boyfriend during argument over past relationships

29-year-old Danielle Burford had a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Tanner Holland, at their Stone Hedge Court residence late June 13th. A third party called the police, advising them that there was a male and a female, later identified as Holland and Burford, fighting in the street, adding that the female appeared to be the aggressor. When they arrived, they located Holland walking barefoot without a shirt while Burford exited the house with only a blanket wrapped around her. Holland told officers that when he picked Burford up from work, she was intoxicated and started arguing with him about girls he had previously dated, during which she became upset and slapped him.

Holland said he hit her back, and when they got home, the dispute continued inside, where he tried to leave, but Burford began grabbing and pulling him to the ground, preventing him from going. During the scuffle, she tore his shirt and left visible injuries to his neck, hands, and right forearm. Kayte Evans heard Holland scream for help. She told police that she saw Burford grabbing Holland and stopping him from leaving. Burford then admitted to attacking Holland but said he punched her in the face. She said she had been drinking alcohol earlier in the night and did not want Holland to leave. Burford was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on June 14th.
