Robert Crandall, 74, agrees to 20-year-sentence in child rape case

74-year-old Robert Crandall has agreed to a 20-year-plea deal in a Nashville child rape case. He was taken into custody Friday to service his sentence.
Crandall was previously indicted by the Davidson County Grand Jury on 1 count child rape, and 9 counts of aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13-years-old.

Last year, the Grand Jury returned an indictment of 1 count child rape, and 9 counts of aggravated sexual battery of a child against 73-year-old Robert Crandall. Crandall has been in custody of the Humphrey County Sheriff’s Department. Today, he will appear in a Nashville Court to be arraigned on the charges returned by the Grand Jury.
