DUI: Timothy Winn found passed out drunk in his car near Whataburger

30-year-old Timothy Winn was observed sleeping in the driver’s seat with his engine running near the Gallatin Pike North Whataburger around 4:08 a.m. on May 12th. Then, officers conducted a “vehicle block,” during which Winn had woken up and complied with their instructions to exit his car. Winn admitted to police he had almost two cups of bourbon earlier in the night. During their interaction, officers noticed he reeked of marijuana and alcohol, so they prompted Winn with sobriety tests. Winn then performed poorly on tests, showing signs of impairment. Officers also located a half-smoked blunt of marijuana and a glass pipe with residue. After being read implied consent, Winn agreed to provide a blood sample and then was taken into custody for driving under the influence on May 12th.
