21-year-old William Ellis was caught sitting at the WeGo Central bus station on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard on July 24th. While officers were on patrol, they observed Ellis sitting at the location for over an hour, which they deemed was over a reasonable amount of time for regular bus users. When they made contact with Ellis and asked him what he was doing, he stated that he was hanging out with his brother. Officers cited him for the violation that day. Ellis was later booked on the citation of criminal trespassing on August 16th.
